Google Summer Of Code 2025 Dates. The application process officially starts around march and google announces the organization list most of the time in february’s first week. We have just announced the 2024 accepted gsoc contributors, we will not have any news on 2025 until late this year.

Once accepted, gsoc contributors spend a few weeks becoming familiar with the community norms and codebase while determining expected milestones with their mentor for the summer. If you are a student or a beginner in open source software development and 18+ years old, we hope you will apply.
